Auberge Gourmande, in the center of restaurant row in Grand Case, serves fine French cuisine in an intimate dining room in one of the oldest Créole houses on the island. Lovingly remodeled in subtle whites and yellows, the wood and stone of the old house harken back to a time of slower pleasures. Enjoy an evening on our terrace amid the plantings or step inside to find your favorite alcove. Our friendly and efficient staff completes the ambience required to provide you with a superb and sublime evening.

We have soups, salads, and appetizers to ready your palate. Choose from onion soup, lobster bisque, or cream of asparagus soup with a grilled scallop. Salads include our own version of the classic Caesar salad, a mixed green salad, or our own smoked salmon with toast. Warm appetizers include a trilogy of foie gras. Of course we have Burgundian snails and frog legs.

Dinner features seven of the freshest fish on the island including French sea bass, tuna, Dover Sole, John Dory, and more in interesting preparations. Our six meat courses can please the most discriminating palette and include rack of lamb, beef filet mignon, pork tenderloin, duck, and more. Our desserts will bring your meal to a thrilling conclusion. Their beauty and taste are known throughout the island. Finally, linger and enjoy an after dinner coffee and choose from our long list of digestifs.
